Tad Lewis is a business attorney and executive with over twenty-five years
experience in private ven-ture and asset based finance, strategic joint
ventures, new product launches, business management, real estate, and licensing
and distribution arrangements. Mr. Lewis heads up Seattle-based GuidePoint Law,
which is focused on technology ventures and intellectual property, sustainable
development and green technology, and real estate development law.
Prior to starting GuidePoint Law in 2008, Mr. Lewis was a
partner at Mundt MacGregor, a thirty year old law firm with connections in the
banking, manufacturing and fishing sectors in the Pacific Northwest and
Scandinavia. From 1995 to 2003, Mr. Lewis held various positions at start-up
AccessLine Communications (now part of Intermedia Holdings), including Chief
Financial Officer, General Counsel and Vice President of Business
Development where he helped raise over $90 million in venture capital and
spearheaded the company’s initial push into Europe and Asia. Prior to
AccessLine, Mr. Lewis held various legal positions at The Boeing Company where
he worked on aircraft asset-based financing, pro-ject
financing, international joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. He
started his legal career with Perkins Coie, an international law firm
headquartered in the Pacific Northwest and the region’s largest law firm. Mr.
Lewis received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of
California at Berkeley and his law degree from the University of Washington,
where he served on the Washington Law Review.

was a founder and served on the boards of Global Building, the Sustainable
Building Advisor Institute, and the International Sustainability
Institute.
